Round six of the MCE British Superbike Championship is heading to Brands Hatch this Friday, the second of three visits this season to the Indy race circuit.
In his last visit to Brands Hatch, Peter Hickman for RAF Reserves snatched the top BMW rider accolade. We're hoping that he's able to build on his success and increase his rank from 12th in the current overall rider standings.
Rock supported Gearlink Kawasaki had a boost last round with Glenn Irwin's win in the sprint race on Saturday. We're looking forward to seeing him and Luke Hedger continue the solid performance that the team has shown consistently this season.
Josh Elliott and John Ingram for Morello Racing are sure to be chomping at the bit to get back on the track. The team had a very successful weekend at Knockhill in the Pirelli National Superstock 1000cc, we're hoping that Josh Elliott can add to his hat-trick of wins so far. Other supporting events over the weekend will include the FIM Sidecar World Championship, Motorpoint British Supersport Championship, Pirelli National Superstock 600 Championship and British Motostar.
Throughout each event of the BSB we've experienced fantastic brand coverage. With Rock Oil clearly visible on each racing weekend, we're excited that we're becoming better known to the general public as the season continues.
On to speedway news the FIM World Championship will be revving up at 7 o'clock local time this Saturday at the Lokomotiv Stadium in Latvia. Rock supported rider Tai Woffinden is currently 12 points clear at the top of the standings, and will be looking to stay there this weekend. Joining him at Latvia will be fellow rock Riders Chris 'Bomber' Harris (ranking 12th with 23 points so far), Matej Žagar (maintaining his 5th position with 34 points) and Troy Batchelor (ranking 14th with 17 points).
