After dominating the qualifying he started on pole for Sundays race 1. Whilst not making the best of starts Alex found himself in 4th position after the first couple of laps, so had to really push to get back into contention. He then took the lead on lap 5 and never looked back, pulling out a 5 second lead on Shane Byrne by the time he took the chequered flag.
Race 2 was very different and there was much jostling at the front as Alex, Josh Brookes, Michael Laverty and Shane Byrne competed for the lead. Alex made his move on Shane Byrne on the very last corner and powered to the front to snatch a fantastic win by fractions of a second. A dramatic end to a dramatic days racing and a stunning double win for the Rock supported team. Alex now lies in 3rd place in the championship and will be looking to maintain his blistering form as he tries to catch championship leader Shane Byrne at the final round at Brands Hatch in two weeks.
