His experience over many years in the AMA Championship and on a Honda, should see him hit the ground running for his new team and they are confident he can be up at the front of the pack sooner rather than later. Such a high profile rider can only be a good thing for the BSB championship and gives WFR a very strong line up for the rest of the season.
Speaking ahead of his imminent arrival in Britain, Jake said; “I’m delighted to be coming to the UK at last and starting the next chapter of my career. I have always been an admirer of BSB and have wanted to race here for quite some time so I would like to thank Team WFR who have made that dream a reality.
“I’m looking forward to getting stuck in to their exciting Evo project at Knockhill and racing against some of the best riders in the world at the remaining rounds of the season.”
