Rock Oil is currently recruiting for a Telesales Executive role based at our Warrington office. The role consists of lead generation, creation of new customer accounts, and the management and maintenance of existing business customer relationships.
Although the primary purpose of the role is to represent Rock Oil with a view to bring new business customers on board, the role involves an equal amount of administrative and managerial tasks.

Previous experience of working within a targeted telesales / customer service role would be advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. We are delighted to announce an extended, three-year associate-level partnership with the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship. We have enjoyed official partnership status within the Championship since 2015 following a long-standing presence in the British Championship paddock dating back over three decades. The decision to extend this by a further 3 years means we are able to continue to build on the much increased awareness the partnership has afforded the Rock brand. The global reach of the series has helped both our UK and export business across all our market sectors.
The new agreement will continue to showcase the Rock brand at each MCE BSB event, including a range of branding, experiential, hospitality and marketing rights as well as presenting sponsorship status for the local round at Oulton Park in September.

Rock Oil received some very welcome guests in the form of BBC reporters early yesterday morning at our Warrington HQ. As Prime Minister Theresa May launched her industrial strategy for post-Brexit Britain with a vow that the Government will 'step up' and take an active role in backing business, our Warrington HQ was featured in a series of reports for the BBC over the course of the morning. BBC news reporter, Ben Thompson, gave an impromptu tour around our operation along with 4 live interviews with our Managing Director Greg Hewitt, asking his thoughts on how SME's could benefit from the Government's backing.

Rock Oil is proud to announce the launch of an innovative new range of light commercial fleet lubricants, VAN-GUARD®. We realised that standard automotive or commercial lubricants are not the ideal solution for protecting LCV engines, so we've specially engineered a series of bespoke products VAN-GUARD® to cover the LCV market. They are OEM specific and approved products, meaning they can be used throughout the whole life of your vehicles, including during the warranty period.
The VAN-GUARD® range also includes high performance support products include FUEL-GUARD C - a diesel fuel additive designed to increase fuel efficiency, the ATF Range of automatic transmission fluids, the gear oil range of gearbox and transmission fluids, and ancillary items including anti-freeze, cleaners and greases for gearboxes, axle and bearings and suspension systems.

Following a fantastic 2015 supporting the British Superbike Championship, Rock Oil distributors and staff enjoyed great success at the 2016 Motorcycle Expo.
Held over three days in Stoneleigh Park, the Motorcycle Expo provides an opportunity for dealers and exhibitors to discuss business related to motorcycle products for the upcoming year. Following Rock Oil's recognition for commitment to quality with the attainment of BS EN ISO 14001:2004, discussions ranged from new launches for our motorcycle range, to forthcoming plans to further increase Rock Oil brand awareness nationally.
The Expo also gave us an opportunity to detail proposals on the continual improvement of policies and procedures within Rock, with aims to earn further accreditation based on quality management principles and a strong customer focus. Rock Oil will continue to support the BSB in 2016 and look forward to cementing the association between Rock Oil and the choice of lubricant for the racing series.
The year has been a fantastic one for the business with the brand enjoying a higher profile than ever. We were also delighted to say we now have over 60 global partners buying the Rock Oil brand.
A new relationship in 2015 has been the partnering of the British Superbike Championship, one of the best domestic motorcycle race series in the world. The partnership is the largest in Rock’s long history and has reinforced the brand to a global audience. We have had a great year of results from our racing partnerships and secured a number of championships, including a Speedway world title through Tai Woffinden. Away from motorcycle we have worked with race partners such as Albatec Racing and Sean Walkinsaw Motorsport, as we continue to push the brand to new audiences.
This past June saw the launch of a new range of commercial lubricants called TRUCK-GUARD®. This specialised range offers real benefits to fleet users and the range has thus far proved very popular. Early in 2016 we will be launching VAN-GUARD® which is aimed at the Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) market. In the UK one in ten vehicles on the road is a van and these vehicles are not currently served by a dedicated lubricants range. We feel a targeted range will be a popular addition to our product line up and will also compliment the TRUCK-GUARD® range as many fleets will operate both types of vehicle.

In acknowledgement of our Environmental diligence, for the first time we have been awarded the BS EN ISO 14001:2004 Standard for Environmental Management which we are both delighted and proud to have achieved. In addition we are currently working towards achieving the BS OHSAS 18001:2007 standard for Health and Safety Management which we should achieve late 2016.
The International Dirtbike Show finished this past Sunday after a hectic 4 days for Rock Oil. The stand was busy throughout the show period and we had many hundreds of visitors come to say hello. Visitors to the Rock stand were able to grab themselves a goodie bag with a selection of posters, stickers and a stick of rock. The very latest off road products were on display and the revised Factory Air Filter Range was on show for the first time.
The show also allowed us to meet up with race partners and discuss plans for 2015 and beyond. We were delighted to renew our partnership with Buildbase Honda and their team of Kristian Whatley, Graeme Irwin and Lewis Trickett should ensure they are amongst the favourites for titles in 2015. We have also renewed partnerships with Heads & Threads Suzuki and Phoenix Tools Honda. We are currently in discussions with a number of other off road teams as we look to finalise our support program for 2016.
